Archbishop Raymond L. Otey, Sr.

As a dynamic visionary, Archbishop, affirmed Apostle, and appointed Bishop, Raymond Leroy Otey, Sr. promotes unity in the body of Christ by establishing order and encouraging reform.

Archbishop Otey received his license to preach the gospel in November of 1982 and was ordained in June of 1984. He now serves as the Senior Pastor of Mount Calvary Church International, Inc. Ministries formed and flourished as he taught biblically based, life changing perspectives concerning church leadership, ministry, and the Great Commission. To date, he has over 20 ordained pastors, elders and ministers under his leadership including international churches in Kolar Goldfield, India.

Affirmed as an Apostle by Bishop Larry Trotter of the Sweet Holy Spirit Church in Chicago, Illinois in June 2004 and appointed as a bishop in March 2007, Archbishop Otey served as an overseer in the United Covenant Churches of Christ (UCCC). He has numerous ministerial certifications including his Bachelor of Theology and Master of Pastoral Studies degree. Along with his many accomplishments, he received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award issued from the 46th President of the United States, Joe Biden in 2021.

Because of his willingness to provide pastoral guidance and wise counsel to those in need, Kingdom Builders Fellowship, Inc. (KBF) was established in October 2009 by Archbishop Otey. Being led by God, he called together a small group of pastors for the purpose of considering a new reformation and to help restore order and government to the body of Christ. Kingdom Builders Fellowship, Inc. started growing and held its first Holy Convocation in July of 2010. During the Convocation, Archbishop Otey was enthroned as the Presiding Prelate of KBF.

Archbishop Otey is married to Lady Lawana Otey and together they have four children and nine grandchildren. He considers himself as being a down-to-earth person. You can find him on his boat, inviting people to join him as he goes fishing - or on his way woods" during hunting season. His hands are blessed as a gardener, and he is generous with the crops he produces. Archbishop Otey is glad that people respect his anointing, but also enjoys life just like any other person.

Archbishop Otey received his consecration to the episcopacy in July 2019 by Archbishop D. Myles Golphin on behalf of the Ecumenical Patriarchal Office of the Global Conference of Bishops. He is recognized as one of the metropolitans placed in the International House of Bishops of the Global conference of Bishops.
